About me
My name is Alberto Sigismondi, I am a USA Swimming Coach in the San Francisco Bay Area. I coach senior elite swimmers for the De Anza Cupertino Aquatics Club in Cupertino, California.
I don’t remember a period of my life when I was far from a swimming pool.
My mother signed me up to a swim club when I was 5 years old because I was asthmatic and it was recommended by my pediatric doctor. Since then, swimming has been part of my life.
I write swimming workouts every day for my teams, so why don’t share it with a wider audience?
I am trying to fill a gap for all the swimming and triathlon enthusiasts, amateurs, and former club and college swimmers who can’t access a structured workout just because we don’t provide options for them. This is of course with the exception of the worldwide Masters swimmers out there.
No matter if you are a swimmer or triathlete, my workouts can be adapted to fit your needs.
This is one of my jobs, and I put a lot of work into it. I believe in an ethos of paying people for their work (especially in service spaces, where work is undervalued and, therefore, resources are limited).
